Room 502 | Afternoon | Sunday | March 11
The weirdness of the island hadn't touched Bod this time around. For that, he was glad. He hadn't even ventured far from his room thus far. He'd gone out and gotten himself some food and a drink but he was back on his bed, sprawled out on his back with a book in one hand. He hadn't had a lot of time lately to just sit and read and he'd fallen behind.
So, he was going to rectify that this weekend. He'd already gone through three books and was currently working on his fourth. His phone was nearby though, able to be easily accessed if needed but he was otherwise feeling and looking like the quintessential lazy teenager.
[Mostly for a phone call but open post (though the door's closed)!]

So, when she dialed Bod's number today, she really was just looking for some easy, happy conversation with someone she loved and who didn't necessarily know about the amount of shit her family was currently in.
Selfish, probably. But needed.

"Lucky you," she said. "Relaxing is a majorly awesome idea, and I approve of it."

She'd already said that. It didn't matter.

She closed her eyes and burrowed further into the blankets in their bed. She'd just come to take a private breather in Charmaine's house, even if she'd been spending most of her time next door. "I want you to hold me again too," she murmured.

She was pretty sure he wouldn't even know, but she wanted to change the subject slightly.

Such a nerd.

Making fun of people's dresses and complaining about not having seen any of the movies sounded like it could be therapy-like.
