Room 502 | Early Afternoon | Friday | January 29
It was cold outside. That much Bod knew just from his brief trip into town to get a few things to eat and drink. It was cold and crisp, tinging his cheeks pink and making the tips of his fingers numb.
The warmth of his room upon his return from town started to ease the cold in his cheeks and fingers and, once he'd stored his items, he barely remembered that he'd been cold. Idly, he wondered where Silas was at the moment, if he was cold or if he was warm.
If he was even still alive.
Bod shook that thought off and carded his hands through his hair, breathing deep and exhaling slowly. The quiet was getting to him, apparently. He usually preferred the quiet but he was coming to find out that it wasn't always good.
Making a face at himself for letting himself feel maudlin, he grabbed the small bag out from under his bed and dropped it on the mattress. He hadn't gone through it since arrival and now seemed like a good time. He'd collected a lot of things over the past few months, trinkets, souvenirs and, since he was settled, he thought putting them out might do him good.
[door and post are open!]
