Room 502 | Afternoon | Sunday | August 29
Aug. 29th, 2010 02:31 pmFor the first time in his life, Bod had pets. There were now two fish swimming around in a tank on his desk. Bod thought they looked happy but it was hard to tell with fish. He'd told them he was their new owner and that they'd be staying with him.
The fish had, predictably, swum around, looking pleased by the fact that they were getting to swim around. Bod didn't tell them what happened to Didi but he figured they'd know. Fish were living creatures and he didn't really want to hurt their feelings today.
Bod was strange. He already knew that.
The fish looked happy enough so Bod let them be while he finally unpacked some things he'd left packed since returning from Kansas. He put his books away, straightened some things all the while keeping an eye on the fish.
Bod just wanted to make sure he was being a responsible pet owner. And he wanted Didi to feel assured in knowing that he'd take care of her fish.
[Door and post are open!]
